Happy New Year!

I forget how much I love the beginning of each new year. I really enjoy the holidays but by the time they are over, I am ready to start a fresh new year. It's a time of betterment and new commitments.
And this year, there are going to be some big changes in our life. To mention a few, Rich will be graduating in April. (HURRAY!) I am so proud of him. Not only is he graduating, he will be done with his Masters! Next is that we will be moving to California in the fall. This is exciting and scary all at the same time. Our very dear friends just graduated and left for Portland to start their new life there. It was a bit of an eye opener for me to see that the day is really going to come when we need to pack up and leave our home to create a new home. Then again... I've always said that "home is wherever Richie is". This is true so it shouldn't be too hard. =)

I'm so excited for this new year and the many new challenges we will encounter together. Hopefully by the time December comes I will be braver, smarter, more loving and patient, and more the person God needs me to be.

  2. Rachel,
Thank you so much for commenting on my blog! It made me feel so wonderful! But I have to tell you that this blog has turned out to be my experiment blog and we are now going back to the old one. It is at raeddy.blogspot.com. Since I finally figured out how to do all of the stuff I decided to keep the one Rich posts things on too so that it will feel more like his blog as well. =)Thanks and talk to you soon!
